Convo with the 'rents

When it came to talking to my parents and I had showed them the results they mentioned they had always seen me as a person who shares wisdom using past occations as a reference or in other words as a teacher in a way. Now when we started talking about spiritual gifts and as I mentioned my potentials they, being they probably know me the best, did not question the potentials. They mentioned soo many things and examples on how christ influenced my life and how it has made me a better person.

Spiritual Gifts

Throughout this test I was able to realize my spiritual potentials. My potentials were hospitality, service, administration, and exhortation. If I didn't take the test I might not have seen my strengths. When I first saw my results, my thoughts were for the most part like "really" but then I would think back and actually notice "that is who I am". The scores with least points doesn't mean that its going to be like that forever because as long as I strive for a better understanding of those gifts I can also have those spiritual gifts with time as long as that is Gods plan.

My Testimony

Throughout the years I have had to moved a lot and changed schools many times because my dad was in the military. My family had always taken me to church but I what came across my mind was "learning about some guy that died a long time ago is boring". In school I was a smart kid, I would get high honer roll but I was occasionally pull some pranks on the teachers with some friends. When I arrived to Panama for vacation from Germany I said in one of my aunts house for the 2 months we stayed here. On Sunday my other aunt and her family invited me to go to church with them about five years ago. I sat through the entire sermon and I still remember what the sermon was about to this very day. Because of that one sermon I started praying more for my dad, who was in Iraq, my family and stuff like that. I felt different inside. Within a year my dad retired from the army, I went to school in the states for like a month and a half, and I moved down to Panama in May. My family at the time was not doing well economically and we were living in very tough circumstances. Later on in mid October I got very sick with an pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital for a week. That event made me realize that I was nothing without Jesus and after that I started going to CBC again and into sunday school towards the end of January. Throughout my relationship with Jesus I have had my highs and lows but if it wasnt for the lows in my relationship I would never have my high points.

Type ENFJ - Idealist

I suppose this perosonality test really showed me who I really am. I am a teacher according to the test, even though I don't like the idea what-so-ever. When I think of being a teacher, I think of a school teacher, but it actually means being a mentor or a guide to others. A teacher also encourages other people to work to their maximum potential and I have that trait in me that I get from my mom. (My mom being a teacher and also being director of her school would constantly encourage me to do my very best in all I do because that is just what she does for a living, exept when it comes to running her other buisnesses) A recent example for me would have been being captain of the school soccer team. Not trying to be rude, but most team members were new at the sport and not very good so I would constantly encourage them and make possitive remarks about the way they were playing, and in time they all got much better.

So this test very accuratly illustrated that I am in a way a teacher.
